At approxiamtely 11:00 Hrs., Engine Co. 4, Engine Co. 1, Engine Co. 2, and Medic 1 were toned out for a field fire on Kettle Bottom Rd. in Payne's Point. Brush 4, Brush 1, and Medic 1 responded within minutes. Brush 1 arrived on scene to find one acre of dry cut grass on fire. Brush 4 arrived on scene to take the house side of the fire and stop it before it got too close to the structure. Shortly After Tanker 1 and Tanker 4 arrived on scene. Chief 1 took command. Tanker 2 and Brush 2 were put back in service. The Fire was extinguished and the rest of the field and the house were safe from fire. All units were released by command and went back in service.
