At 04:10 hours, Engine Co. 4, Engine Co.1,  Engine Co. 2, and Rescue Station 1 were toned out for a brush fire on Mattox Ave. Captain 4 arrived on scene and advised that it was endangering the pump house for Placid Bay Water Supply. Brush 4, Tanker 4, and Wagon 4 marked up within minutes, along with Brush 1, Tanker 1, and Tanker 2. Crews arrived on scene and extinguished the fire quickly. Response 4 brought refreshments and set up the rehab station. After all was said and done, the fire was extinguished and the pump house saved.
