| Three Alarm Structure Fire In Westmoreland Shores |
Sat. Jan 2nd 2010
On Saturday evening, 01/02/2010, Engine Co.1, Engine Co.4, Engine Co.2, and Rescue Station 1 were toned out for a structure fire on Holly Vista Dr. in Westmoreland Shores. 911 Dispatch came across the radio and said that smoke was showing. With personnel having just gotten back from the boat rescue, Wagon 4 and Tanker 4 were able to respond within seconds to the call. Withing just a couple of minutes, Wagon 4 was on scene first! Tanker 4 arrived right behind the Wagon. The crew from Wagon 4 pulled hose, broke down the garage door and had the fire knocked down within minutes. Engine 15 arrived on scene and did an interior search of the house to make sure no victims were inside. Engine 21 arrived on scene shortly thereafter and assisted with salvage and clean up. No victims were found in the home and the fire was contained to the garage with only smoke damage to the rest of the house.
Great job Engine Co.1, Engine Co. 4, Engine Co. 2, Rescue Station 1, and the Ladies Aux. from Engine Co.1. for your quick response and assistance!
