Do you want to become a volunter Firefighter or EMT? Do you have spare time that you could use giving back to your community? Oak Grove is ALWAYS looking for new members!

At Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department we make it easy for you help your community. There is absolutely no experience needed to become a member at Oak Grove. All and any training that you will need will be provided at little to no cost to you!!!

Oak Grove has a Junior Member program as well. This program includes all children under the age of 18. These members are able to participate in firehouse functions and will be allowed to participate in trainings but only under supervision. Junior member are allowed to hold their own meetings, fundraising events, etc. Junior members must have forms signed by parents/guardians! For more information feel free to contact us!

If you dont want to fight fires or help the sick/injured, Oak Grove still needs people "behind the scenes". Whether its helping out with fundraisers, committees, washing trucks, or working with the Auxilary group to provide food and drinks to working Firefighters on scene; we can use your help!

What do you need to get started? It's simple, go to the "Files" tab on the website or go to Oak Grove Vol. Fire Dept. and ask anyone there for a membership application. After filling that out, simply return it to Oak Grove Fire Dept. in person or by mail. After your background check has been returned to us from the state, your membership will be voted on by the board. Our regular monthly meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
